4. Does IEEE provide usage reports?

IEEE provides usage reports to non-member institutional subscribers upon request. This free service provides secure access to subscriber-specific usage information using username/password authentication. Only one username/password account is issued per subscription, and only the primary contact for the subscription will be given the access information.

The IEEE Online Usage Reports site contains IEEE customer user statistics through December 2005. This site includes number of PDFs served, number of abstracts served, and denials based on the institution exceeding concurrency.

Customer statistics for January 2006 forward appear at our new COUNTER-compliant statistics site. This site includes COUNTER reports one through four, and additional reports for IEEE conferences and standards.

The same username and password allows access to both sites.

For assistance, contact IEEE Customer Service.

5. Can I create links from my library's home page to IEEE Xplore?

Librarians can create links to the publication pages within IEEE Xplore. The URLs to our publications will remain constant, so users will not encounter broken links as we make changes to the site. For more information, go to OPAC Linking.

6. What is IEEE's archival policy?
